Pouya Ghabadi Bistooni, a Kurdish power electrical engineer, calligraphy artist, and santur player, and a graduate of the University of Kurdistan, was executed by the Khamenei regime on 31 March 2026.
He was 34 years old, from the Kolya’i tribe in Kermanshah Province, from the city of Sonqor. Pouya was a talented engineer, skilled calligrapher, and accomplished santur player. He had also spent five years in prison prior to his execution.
On Tuesday, 31 March 2026, the execution of Pouya Ghabadi Bistooni and Babak Alipour, a Gilak citizen, was carried out secretly in Ghezel Hesar Prison, without prior notice to their families or lawyers, and without a final meeting.
Mizan News Agency, the official website of Iran's judiciary, announced that the executions were carried out after confirmation by the Supreme Court.
Both prisoners had previously been sentenced to death by Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Iman Afshari, on charges of “baghi” (armed rebellion), accused of membership in the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MEK/PMOI).

Kamal Kharrazi, Iran’s former foreign minister and a senior adviser to former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, has reportedly been injured in a recent wave of strikes, according to emerging reports. Kharrazi had previously drawn attention for his remarks on the country’s nuclear capabilities, asserting that Iran possesses the technical capacity to develop a nuclear weapon. He had also warned that Tehran’s nuclear doctrine could shift if the regime perceived an existential threat.

The Islamic Republic has deployed heavy military equipment and literally brought TANKS to the streets of the capital just to terrorize its own unarmed citizens.

Because most of the country hates the regime, especially after it massacred 30,000 Iranians in January this year.

Like I said, it seems the regime's propaganda machine has settled on its talking points: emphasize the costs of the war, portray Israel as the bad actor and manipulator, and depict Trump as a fool for following Netanyahu. Meanwhile, the echo chamber helps spread the narrative.

The regime’s former chief apologist stayed silent while tens of thousands of Iranian protesters were massacred across the country. Now he reappears, making use of his privileged, uncensored internet access to promote the regime’s preferred talking points: a peaceful, legitimate government; Netanyahu as the villain who manipulates the U.S.; the costs of the war and losses for the West; and the regime as indestructible. It probably won’t take long for friendly Western media to bring him back on and amplify it.

This is something I have been worrying a lot about. We have psychopaths waging this war. We have seen Netanyahu gleefully carry out a genocide in Gaza reducing it to a nuclear bomb site. Why would he not go further now in Iran? There has been absolutely no consequences for his war crimes in Gaza. Trump has only assisted them. This has got to stop. As the citizens of the world we have to stop this. They can not be allowed to carry out a nuclear strike on the millions of innocent people of Iran. These are our fellow human beings, regardless of their leaders. This is insanity.

یکزمانی یک عده میگفتن جمهوری اسلامی عمدا داره ایران رو خشک میکنه. من میگفتم نه این تئوری توطئه است. دلیلش حتما کشاورزی بی حساب و کتاب و مسائل دیگه است. ولی مثل اینکه واقعا تئوری های توطئه همه درست بودن. یک ماه جمهوری اسلامی نتونست به کاراش برسه دریاچه ارومیه پر آب شد! فقط یک ماه!
