@portly_pete @Geniustechw Either the law in your country is insane or you just hate cyclist. The cyclist is at a hold in his on lane when the moron driver cuts the corner and hits him. Anyway the drivers fault because he has nothing to do in the opposite lane

@Geniustechw The driver cuts the corner, which is bad. But you can see he was indicating right, so the cyclist should have seen this. As usual with accidents, both parties are to blame to a greater or lesser extent.

@festinaboy @redweber Now be careful Antoine. Shortly a French rider will be just as good as Tadej and what then. All you BS will stop or continue. Or is it only the the rest of the world that cheats

#RVV

@antoniopastor @BenjiNaesen That was what you callus call Poulidor as he never won the race but if I’m not wrong Jonas bet the mighty Pog not once but twice and I promise you without those wins we wouldn’t have seen the almighty Pog of today. He would have been god but not this good

@BenjiNaesen Seems to me Jonas knows that he is a notch below Pogi…and that he’s rounding out his palmares to have a legacy other then the eternal 2nd to Pogi in the TdF

I have seen absolutely zero proof in recent years that Jonas Vingegaard's power output is better in his second Grand Tour. If anything, I can't remember a second Grand Tour where he wasn't sick for multiple days. He's the heavy favourite for the Giro d'Italia, but there is currently no indication that he'll be competitive against Tadej Pogačar in July. Paris-Nice against third-tier GC riders is meaningless.

@Danibutidktho @SimonSimon2312 @BenjiNaesen That’s not a comparison that has any value. Pog races to win a one day race that looks very good on any palmares. Vingegaard already had the GC locked and didn’t want to risk anything on semi wet roads and in shitty weather.

@SimonSimon2312 @BenjiNaesen Yeah I know what you mean, my point is that the level difference is too high, I cannot imagine poagacar not being able to drop Lenny even on his worst day, while at this point I'm wondering if Jonas can drop seixas

A baby was asleep on his dad during a baseball game. The television producer takes notice and tells his cameraman to start filming it. The dad notices himself on the jumbotron and tells the crowd to be quiet, the baby is sleeping. He then proceeds to hype up the crowd with wicked dance moves and facial expressions 😂

@_CD03_ @MoGunner49 @charles_watts Well I been to Metlife and it no way near the most exciting/safe/friendly/inviting or innovative stadium anywhere. Only good thing is parking but football fans like to walk from citicenter to the stadium singing så that not needed.

Wouldn’t take this too literally. I sat in a press conference with Tom Boonen after he’d just won Worlds in Madrid in 2005 & he said much the same things. He eventually retired in…2017. x.com/lucasaganronal…
Lukáš Ronald Lukács@lucasaganronald

NEW INTERVIEW WITH TADEJ POGAČAR ❤️ “I won’t hide that I am already counting the years until retirement. I started winning early, and there may be worse results, I am ready for anything. I will probably still ride a few more Tours, although you can never say that you will definitely compete there. The Tour is the biggest race and I doubt that the team will leave me at home for a few more years.” “This year there will be a European Championship for 'climbers', so I'll be there. It's similar to one spring race that Juan Ayuso won this year. But this European Championship probably means that I won't be able to compete in any other Italian classics except Il Lombardia.” “It’s hard to say whether João Almeida or Ayuso can beat at Vuelta. If he hadn’t crashed at the Tour, he certainly could, but now I don’t know.” “Everyone can have a bad day. You can’t expect me to be glowing with happiness for all 21 stages. The Tour was really hard, one of the hardest I’ve ridden, everyone who fought for the overall classification can confirm that. But now I’ve rested, ‘reset’ and I’m ready for new battles.” "We know that Montreal suits me better, but that doesn't mean that I won't try to win in Quebec as well. It's does not need to be necessarily me, we have a few other riders who could suit this goal, especially Jhonathan Narvaez.” “I invited all the cyclists from my list to my Pogi criterium. At first everyone was excited, but then they started canceling. Some are injured, others are sick, there are many other races, so it was difficult to come. But I’m grateful to everyone who took part in the race.” "I'm happy to be home again, to see friends, neighbors, family. It's true that sometimes I wish I was a little less well-known, sometimes taking pictures and signing autographs is tiring, other times a little less, but I try to please everyone.”

Rolf Aldag træder tilbage med øjeblikkelig virkning efter en Tour hvor Florian Lipowitz fik sit gennembrud med en podieplads og hvid trøje, men hvor holdets to kaptajner kørte mere mod hinanden end for hinanden.

Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe and Rolf Aldag have mutually agreed to end their collaboration at the end of this month, following a successful Tour de France. ➡️ Read the full story here: redbullborahansgrohe.com/en/news/red-bu… 📷 Max Fries / Getty Images

Bare tænk Armstrong, Basso, Rasmussen m fl.

@CamachoPamina @Tratnikstan Well some of us remember the days just after 2012 when the team was on the brink of bankruptcy. The raced one year as Team Blanco, ok on Rabobank money but still. Then came the Belkin years with not Much success and then the Jumbo years started. So you can say they rebuild

@Tratnikstan Visma always exploited the "starting from scratch&building this empire singlehandedly with my hard toil" narrative which is the most harmful fallacy of capitalism (one which mainly appeals to Protestant culture). "I'm ripping off these billionnaires" sounds more sincere to me lol

And just like that a career of 16 years has finished. All i have worked for since i was 10 is now just a memory. Paris-Chauny was my last race as a Pro. But like always, the end of one thing is the beginning of something new. Looking forward to discover new challenges.
