What does developing critical thinkers look like? Like this! 2nd graders in Ms. Jones’s analyzed and sorted phrases from Dr. Martin Luther’s I Have a Dream Speech. They sorted the phrases deciding which were Dr. King’s hopes for the country and which were hopes for his children.

State Rep. Sandra Feist, visited our Columbia Heights campus. Answering scholars questions and learning about early learner curriculum. She also connected w/3rd grader Abdiel, Princeton classroom President. They discussed governance and he introduced class mascot, Mr. Stripes.
