Canada is shutting the door on Palestinian post-grad students while the rest of the world is competing to accept them. It’s short-sighted, cruel, and irresponsible. @LenaMetlegeDiab has failed to meet even the basic standard other countries have set. Canada should be leading, not blocking the futures of Palestinians.#cdnpoli

Hey Canada, LET THE STUDENTS IN! Dozens of students from Gaza have been accepted into Canadian universities, but Canada is not allowing them to enter the country.

The White House shared this Washington Post oped written by an Abu Shabab gang member from multiple accounts. Post then replied with a gift link. The oped was pitched by a pro-Israel PR firm. Israel backed these gangs. The rot is so deep

The lack of pressure on Israel to release the thousands of Palestinian hostages (including CHILDREN) says a lot about what Peace that lays ahead, for the Palestinians. There cannot be peace without justice, human rights and dignity of ALL. Palestinian lives matter.
Yanis Varoufakis@yanisvaroufakis

IF THIS IS NOT HOSTAGE TAKING, WHAT IS? Israel refuses to release Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya who insisted on staying with his patients in his bombed hospital even after his own son was murdered. Since then he has been held in one of Israel's torture facilities.

It is up to ordinary citizens in the West to do all we can to stop one of history’s great crimes. Italian workers have shown all of us how it can be done.

Compete capitulation by the UN today. The backstory: 1. Israel accused Hamas of using SA as a weapon of war, demanding they be blacklisted, an official designation with diplomatic consequences. 2. The UN asked to investigate. Hamas agreed, Israel refused. 3. Israel instead invited Pramila Patten, with no investigative mandate, to visit and write a report. She did so. 4. Israel then produced its own report, through Patten’s friend and former colleague @KaddariRuth, by The Dinah Project (That’s a reference to the story of Dinah in the Old Testament. Dinah is a victim of SA and her brothers respond by killing everyone in the town. The title made clear the purpose of the allegation was to launch a genocide.) 5. Major reports emerge, with video evidence, of systemic SA of Palestinians in Israeli prisons and detention centers. 6. The UN announces it is blacklisting Hamas, per Israel’s demand, but does not blacklist Israel, merely warning them to do better. 7. In about 2 decades, if it still exists, the UN will apologize for this when it no longer matters

Even the BBC is now having to report evidence which points in only one direction: The Israeli army are deliberately shooting little children.
Saul Staniforth@SaulStaniforth

"The BBC World Service has compiled material on over 160 cases where children have been shot in Gaza, and found that in 95 cases the child was shot in the head or the chest. In most of these cases the victim was under 12 years old"

1. A poignant open letter from the presidents of Gaza universities aje.io/66loh2 via @AJEnglish. This is an entirely legitimate & reasonable request. These individuals & their academics operate in the most trying & tragic of circumstances, & yet they persevere.

Israeli officers and soldiers have revealed they’ve been ordered to deliberately shoot at unarmed Palestinians trying to get aid. That’s in Israeli newspaper Haaretz. Israel is deliberately massacring civilians it’s deliberately starving. There are few crimes more depraved.

It’s easy to feel like you’re going mad watching a live streamed genocide for a very obvious reason. You can see overwhelming evidence that the most depraved crimes are being committed every day, yet you’re treated as a hateful extremist if you say so.
