from my experience in trading (+6 years), most new traders fail due to over complication they try too many indicators, strategies and TA simultaneously the best traders I know keep it simple 1 strategy, 1 set up, if it’s there, they execute - if it’s not there, they wait once I implemented this, my success shifted drastically

right on queue, +$2,500 USD on the day did not trade yesterday because I did not see any setup that made sense too me but this morning, the patience paid off found the correct levels, patiently waited for my entry, moved my sl up once I felt I wouldn’t hit my full tp to lock in the profits

have been trading since 2019 i remember jumping into this with no experience at all other than a background in finance and auditing started in stocks and options, migrated to crypto and nfts and then shifted to forex and CFDs while building trading algos for me personally, i made the most money trading crypto (with perps - i was exit liquidity in memecoins lol) and now forex and CFDs however, even though i am happy with my current skills with forex and CFDs, i do want to revist trading stocks and options now that i have years of experience under my belt plus, over the years, i have met tremendous mentors and traders that are magicians with options trading that can help me refine my skills and ideology for that market maybe soon, but currently refining our $EURUSD trading algo and building a new $XAUUSD trading algo
