There occurs this ugly "pixel-stretching" if you naively do it programmatically. Pixel art hates noninteger scaling, there are solutions to this though

First look at the RTS game I’ve been building. After years of struggling with Unreal Engine… I built my own engine instead. I use prerendered 2D graphics inspired by classic RTS games like Age of Empires. After ~2 months I already have a working prototype. #gamedev #rtsgame
