@jryckman3 Building such tools requires deep understanding of murky workflows outside of #radonc “one-and-done” pathways. There are tools (e.g. Velocity) but they’re siloed & outside of traditional pacs workflows, and inertia, opportunity costs, and functionality loss is huge.

Bottom line: RT dose overlays improve accuracy, reduce false calls, and increase confidence, especially in complex, multi-lesion cases. This is a solvable informatics problem. The data are here. The need is obvious. So, who's building the tool? #RadOnc #OncTwitter #LCSM

I had a great time in Norfolk, Virginia, attending and presenting at the #ACVR2024 annual scientific meeting. One of my sessions was on #OneHealth and #AI. In short, the message I hoped to transmit was as follows.

Poll for my #medphys peeps out there... Would you consider a 'research sabbatical' at a veterinary radiation oncology center? The catch is you'd have to do both patient and machine QA. The bonus is you'd get a 'stipend.'

@Baldersonmichae around 88 get 1.00… but its highly dependent on the filament manufacturer

@Psbasran It’s cool. What infill setting are you using?

@Baldersonmichae Its brown PLA (can send specs) its straightforward to compute PLA/H20 corr. factors if doing dosimetry. This stuff has a ~2% higher ρ than H2O. Among other uses, it can be low cost RED phantom.

@Psbasran You can print solid water material? What filiment are you using?
