@luisparravicini We actually experimented with a few different methods, but this one ended up being the most convincing. Due to the time constraints of the jam, we had to keep the city details as basic as possible to make sure the loop worked🙇‍♂️

@PuKoStudio Nice! I would’ve assumed shifting the whole world like that would cause visual artifacts. I probably would’ve gone with moving rows of buildings, but this is much cleaner.

We didn't actually build an infinite city for The Knife Sharpener, we just teleport the entire thing to the player’s position whenever they exceed a certain distance threshold. It's an easy technique, but the 3D models must be perfectly symmetrical to keep the transition seamless
