For any high school players looking for collegiate Rocket League opportunities, check out this list of all the currently known RL scholarships!
And just a reminder that everyone should do their research and prioritize education when picking a college!

Might as well add program information to the list!
If you're a director/school staff and recruiting, let me know and I'll add what I can here as well!

Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed.
A few people asked for some clarification: I was hit by another motorcycle who was doing 85mph in a 45 zone around a blind corner.
My health insurance at the time of the accident was preventative only, and will not cover costs

On June 15th I was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident and I've been unable to work full-time since. I'd really appreciate if anyone is able to donate to help cover ongoing medical costs. Anything helps, love y'all gofundme.com/f/support-sams…

@Mike__Charlton Yeah, it really could have been a lot worse. It was an almost head on collision with another motorcycle. He unfortunately ended up passing away

@Mike__Charlton I had access to the beta, and I don't think I'll be buying it. Definitely had potential, but hard to make work as a multiplayer
English

@Mike__Charlton Solid choice, personally I'm going with May It Be by Enya

when I die use this for my end credits sequence.

@enchanted_rl @ExplosiveGyro @ColleagueGG Numbers are off, the list of schools should still be (mostly) accurate

@ExplosiveGyro .@ColleagueGG has a lot of resources on their account, I believe @PulchRL also has a spreadsheet with every college and what they offer (it might be outdated tho I haven’t checked it in years)

The collegiate path to pro and collegiate push as an alternative is great to see but a few glaring issues exist.
1.) only a handful of colleges are investing with staff and financial aid to make it a reality
2.) the majority of programs that exist will still cost 20-40k a year with esports scholarships applied
3.) saying go to a varsity collegiate program can result in debt occurring each year
4) spots are very limited at all of these supported and invested programs, the true full-rides only exist at a small number of schools
5) Varsity wasn’t formed to churn out pros, it was primarily a vessel for small private colleges to increase enrollment and generate tuition revenue. This still is a great experience for most and worth considering
6) making college affordable by attending online and joining a collegiate program has been demonized by collegiate friend groups, you will face people trying to discredit your achievements. So many people are trying to get online students banned, who knows if you will be able to play the following year 😞 (esports is for everyone, you just need to be able to afford it in person) I am neutral on this now but people considering that route should know what they are in for
We are far away from collegiate being a path to pro, I encourage anyone to look into it but check your numbers before you make decisions. I have had so many messages about tier 2 players seeing a 10k+ scholarship offer and getting a bill still over 30k, just do your research. A link below from @ColleagueGG shows a good range of what is out there (rocket league as the example)
