The DEA is closing in. From a distance, Mike watches as police swarm the bench where he was just sitting. And in that instant, he has to make a choice go back to her and get arrested in front of her… or disappear forever. So he does the only thing he believes will protect her. He walks away. No goodbye. No explanation. Just gone. That’s what makes it so heartbreaking. Everything Mike did every risk, every crime was for Kaylee. And in the end, that same life is exactly what takes him away from her. The look on his face says everything: regret, love, and the quiet understanding that this is the last time he’ll ever see her. No music. Just the distant sound of kids playing. And somehow, that silence makes it even more brutal.
