Pullen Memorial Baptist Church

Pullenites joined advocates from across Wake County (with Habitat for Humanity, ONE Wake, and many others!) to support Greenwood Forest Baptist Church’s proposal to begin building affordable housing on their property.

This film is a follow-up to our Finlator Lecture Series, which highlighted various civil rights activists, including Bayard Rustin. We will follow the movie with a brief discussion, particularly on Rustin's Quaker spirituality.

Easter at Pullen was wonderful!

In a moving service, we heard powerful testimonies from our baptismal candidates about how Pullen’s loving community helped raise them to new life!

On Maundy Thursday, we were Reminded of Jesus' commandment to serve one another. We washed each other's feet and gathered at the table of love for communion.

We kicked off holy week by celebrating Palm Sunday with our beloved Pullen tradition of our procession from the Gregg Museum to our Sanctuary. 🌿

We had a blast at our indoor Easter Egg Hunt!

This Easter, the Pullen Music Ministry is pleased to welcome three outstanding guest musicians who will offer their gifts along with the joyful sounds of the Congregation, Worship Choir, and Pullen Orchestra.

Mayor Janet Cowell and Councilman Jonathan Lambert Melton were the first city officials to make good on the promises they made at the ONE Wake Candidate Forum in October.

Last Saturday, Pullenties gathered with our Mennonite siblings and others to proclaim that God's love knows no borders.

Rev. Dr. Rose Cornelious joined us to share why she has been organizing with ONE Wake since its beginning. She shared about the many people she has met across Wake County who are hurting and in need of the hope ONE Wake's organizing brings to our community.

Our Stewardship Committee hosted a Spaghetti Dinner to feature all the incredible organizations that use our building. Pullen Church's facilities, while the heartbeat of our work in the community, are critical to the work of many justice-seeking organizations in our community.
