In the name of Yugoslav people’s unity, unfortunately Tito didn’t go hard on Ustashe war criminals so as not to upset Croats ! It was a mistake !

Reminder: under the nazi Generalplan Ost, 50% of Estonians would be killed. The rest would be turned into Germanised slave workers. USSR saved Estonia from extermination and ensured the longest period of uninterrupted peace in Europe’s history. You exist thanks to Stalin, Marko.

Everything the Ustashe regime did was in direct coordination with the Vatican. The Ustashe regime was a Catholic nationalist state. The bishops knew about everything, cardinals knew, and the Pope knew as well! After the war, it was the Church that created the so-called ratlines to help war criminals escape Europe. Ante Pavelić himself spent months hidden in the Pope’s residences. Here is Ante Pavelic with Aloysius Stepinac the archbishop of Zagreb !

@ShoahUkraine The Ustaše carried out the killings. The Catholic Church didn’t organize them, but some clergy were complicit and leaders often failed to act decisively.

🇦🇲🇷🇺 Questions conveniently ignored by those pushing Armenia into becoming an "anti-Russian hub". 1. Our nuclear power plant provides about 40 percent of the country's electricity. It operates exclusively on Russian fuel and technology. If Armenia continues on the path of becoming an "anti-Russian hub", what would be the alternative source of fuel supply, at what cost, and technically how would that transition be implemented so that the country does not fall into an energy blockade? 2. Armenia receives gas at the border for 165 dollars, one of the lowest prices in the world. If the "anti-Russian hub" project continues, the price could reach market levels, 400 to 600 dollars. Who would compensate for this difference, and how would that affect our economy and the social conditions of the population? 3. The overwhelming majority of Armenia's finished products, agricultural goods, beverages, light industry, etc., are sold in the EAEU market with 0 percent customs duty. What is the alternative market that is ready to accept Armenian products tomorrow at the same volumes, without years of implementing new quality standards? 4. Leaving the CSTO and the military alliance with Russia would also mean the removal of the 102nd base and border troops. Which state is ready tomorrow to stand at Armenia's borders with real forces and a nuclear umbrella as a genuine counterweight to Turkey and Azerbaijan, and is there any official declaration of such from any country? 5. More than 90 percent of our armaments are of Soviet or Russian standard. How much time and how many billions of dollars would be needed to bring the entire army to "NATO standards", and who would provide those funds? Will Armenia be "allowed" to have an army? 6. Leaving the EAEU would also mean losing privileged conditions at Upper Lars and other transport routes. How would Armenia's logistical connection to the outside world be resolved? 7. What will be the fate of over two million Armenians in Armenia and over a million ethnic Armenians in Russia, who are one way or another dependent on the Russian economy and remittances? 8. Our strategic partner Iran has repeatedly stated that it is against the presence of Western extraregional powers in the region. How do you envision Armenia's relations with Iran if Armenia becomes a Western military foothold? 9. Even if one can do mental gymnastics to answer these troubling questions, what happens in the end is Armenia becoming a much more dependent country. This time, that dependency would shift to two neighbouring states with openly hostile intentions toward Armenian statehood and people - Turkey and Azerbaijan. Good luck!

Jacobin's referring to Stalin and Mao acts as a thought terminating cliché that relies on propaganda supplied by empire. If they condemned revolutionaries of a similar creed, like Castro or Ho Chi Minh, the chauvinism would become too obvious, even to the average Jacobin reader.
Matthew J. Hunter ☭@MattHunterMCR

It’s also funny how Jacobin reduces Marxism-Leninism to just Stalin and Mao. Ignoring the decades of practical and theoretical advancement done from Cuba and Vietnam. (Let alone China post-Mao)

God forbid a European outlet cover Armenia without framing it as a Russian proxy story. No mention of Azerbaijani aggression. No mention of the 150,000 Indigenous Armenians ethnically cleansed from Artsakh. No mention of POWs illegally held in Baku still. But sure – Armenia is the problem. Carry on, @France24_en Apparently, unbiased journalism is the cost of doing business with Russian fossil fuel, laundered by Azerbaijan.

@Wiesen_Heimer @class_traitor_ @Mastodon185 @JamieBonkiewicz Is The Telegraph "commie school"? Do you realize what you are saying? USSR did not move to protect the eastern half of Poland until 2 weeks after Germany moved in, plus the POL government already collapsed That is hardly the coordinated invasion the liars make it out to be

Is that what they taught you in commie school?? Soviets offered to "fight for Poland's independence" from Germany, by invading and occupying Poland, which they were negotiating with Hitler to do anyway when they made that ridiculous "offer." And which they subsequently did. My stars you people are delusional.

What do $32 billion in IMF and World Bank loans buy Argentina under Javier Milei? Pensions slashed. Public spending cut 25%. And homelessness in Buenos Aires is up 57% in two years. Still think the IMF and World Bank are in the poverty reduction business?
