There is no escape! No AC. Your home, public transport, your workplace are all uniformly hot. The concrete just belches out heat, the buildings are designed only to trap heat for cold wet winters. We are a silly humid country with zero heat-based infrastructure!

I run tours in the UK. Over the past week I have had numerous American groups, from Texas, Arizona and Nevada. They all agree, the temperature is not as high on the thermometer as it is back home... But it feels way worse in London.

In 2011, the United Nations took a historic step by recognizing LGBTQI+ rights and calling for global protections. Nations like Canada, Sweden, and the Netherlands are ranked as some of the safest for LGBTQI+ individuals.
