@BZuzumon It seems pretty obvious to me they want their characters to look a certain way for this game at least. We're never getting a pure Xenogears remake. We're getting games that tell the story before, after, in, and around it.

With each new Xenoblade game, Monolithsoft is getting better and better at capturing the visual essence of their past works - Xenogears and Xenosaga. I'm excited to see more!

@ZX_Gear9881 The style, tech, and experience - it captures the feel of the 2D art more. X, even with the remaster, was really never able to capture the look of the concept art. It's not a knock against any ones style.

Noticed more depictions from the background mural of the Xenoblade Genesis trailer. 3 Ouroboros/mech type figures with wings and swords possibly, like the one Eleanor is fighting in the same shot. Antagonists or a form the main characters will take as well? 🤔

@Quiet_Fields Nice catch, kinda reminds me of Kadomony actually. Can match with the spaceship coming from the crater in the trailer. 6 swirls of hair around the the person aswell.

I think this mural on the wall in the Xenoblade Genesis trailer could be depicting a female figure in a similar pose like Elly from Xenogears. You see what looks like feminine legs for a second and all the swirls around it are long flowing hair. The God/Anima of Anshar? Maybe 🤔

@Eucatastrophee - antagonists of the game, leaving them all separated and Eleanor blinded from an injury. Time passes, Keiin and Eleanor meet like how the leak describes after the prologue. But you can never rule out reincarnation in a Xeno game. We've barely scratched the surface of Genesis.
