I notice there are a whole lot of right-wing "journalists" out there whose silence in the wake of Don Lemon's arrest would indicate a tacit approval of the infringement of YOUR rights of free press. You all should be smart enough to recognize that this is a page straight out of the authoritarian leader's playbook: JAIL the dissenters and the free press. Yeah, that includes YOU TOO. And your hair should be on FIRE about this, just like everyone else. Just because trump is the tyrant in office now, and you're pretty sure as long as you keep licking his boots well enough, you can probably stay out of jail. But what about ANOTHER President? What happens when a Democrat is in office? You assume that it will NEVER happen under a Democratic President, because we're always the adults in the room, that we love democracy too much to let that happen. But what if THIS is the straw that breaks our backs? What if our base says "F*ck that. No more. Do the same thing to them?" Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Tucker Carlson, Peter Doocy, and all the rest of you Fox Newsers: show some INTEGRITY for a change, show some spine and stand up for your fellow journalists. And, if you admit that you're not really a journalist but just an entertainer, fine. Show that you give a damn about America, and our First Amendment. Wake up... and STAND UP.

It's embarrassing that every major network is not covering the shocking and terrible revelations about Donald Trump that were released today by the Dept of Justice. Every show, every producer, every host this should be your focus today. This is NEWS.

ICE is now just stopping retired couples on their way to church and shoving guns in their faces. Won't ANYONE stop these 4th Amendment violations? Revoke this "absolute immunity" bullshit from ICE immediately.

What has unfolded in Minneapolis this past month betrays our most basic values as Americans. We are not a nation that guns down our citizens in the street. We are not a nation that allows our citizens to be brutalized for exercising their constitutional rights. We are not a nation that tramples the 4th Amendment and tolerates our neighbors being terrorized. The people of Minnesota have stood strong — helping community members in unimaginable circumstances, speaking out against injustice when they see it, and holding our government accountable to the people. Minnesotans have reminded us all what it is to be American, and they have suffered enough at the hands of this Administration. Violence and terror have no place in the United States of America, especially when it’s our own government targeting American citizens. No single person can destroy what America stands for and believes in, not even a President, if we — all of America — stand up and speak out. We know who we are. It's time to show the world. More importantly, it's time to show ourselves. Now, justice requires full, fair, and transparent investigations into the deaths of the two Americans who lost their lives in the city they called home. Jill and I are sending strength to the families and communities who love Alex Pretti and Renee Good as we all mourn their senseless deaths.
