@Sassafrass_84 Agreed. We’ve averaged 2 million legal immigrants a year since 2015. Think this has no impact on housing costs and wages? That’s 20 million legal immigrants plus 10s of millions of illegal aliens. We need a pause.

I'm actually to the point that I dont even want legal immigration right now. I want ongoing mass deportations. Once that's under control, then we can start thinking about immigration again. My two cents. Not that anybody asked.

Iran’s upper hand? The press is at it again. Iran has the upper hand now. Iran will collect billions in tolls. Trump is backed into a corner. Iran has once again won and they will be even tougher now As they have at every turn they have systematically undermined America and pushed Iranian propaganda and it keeps getting worse. First, the Biden administration negotiated with Iran for 4 years and what did they get? Spit. And they effectively let Iran off the hook and Iran collected billions of dollars they used to build missiles and enrich Uranium. Today, they are coming to the table minus most of their leadership, without a Navy, without a functioning nuclear program, with no air defenses, their proxies in ruins, down 90 per cent in functioning missiles, shot down a single plane in 18,000 missions, are having to execute their own people and keep the internet off to prevent people from overthrowing them. And there is a huge armada circling them. Yup. They got us right where they wanted us. Our negotiators have no leverage at all. Because if you listen to mainstream media analysis they can send some drones to increase oil prices on a temporary basis until they face another round of devastation and new leadership. Reality is they are at the table because they had nowhere to go and they alienated all the neighboring countries and Trump has always made clear that like the symbol of America itself he holds olive branches in one hand and arrows in the other. If Iran does not realize this is not the Biden administration they are dealing with, these negotiations will be over fairly quickly and there will be another round of military action and we will see where they are then.

Border crossings to near zero. Net negative migration. 95% reduction in asylum grants. Lawsuits against a slew of woke universities. DEI getting crushed everywhere. Massive, beneficial deregulation. No tax on tips. No tax on overtime. Venezuela turned into an American ally. And that's just off the top of my head. It's not Trump's fault that everyone's an ingrate with the memory of a goldfish
Joe@Joekart

@willchamberlain Name one thing this administration has done that it promised it would. I can name a dozen ways this admin has backstabbed his base. I can’t name single accomplishment other than feeling good the day he won.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine and Iran's interdiction of the Straits of Hormuz and the Bab al Mandeb and the resulting decline in 'fossil fuel' supply have started a chain reaction in the UK, Ireland, Western Europe. 1) Created fuel shortages that windmills and solar panels could not offset. 2) Pushed governments, who already taxing their workforce to the max to support welfare, migrants and woke to subsidize energy costs forced to increase it again 3) Created demands for more drilling and nuclear power that are anathema to the Left 4) Exposed the inability of Woke governments to provide any meaningful energy or international security because they have already spent everything on welfare. Some politicians, like Starmer, are frantically trying to restore the status quo ante without any means to do it. It is like a whole house of cards has seen the props knocked out.

Democrats are in full panic mode as the changes at CBS News and 60 Minutes have become apparent. Under the new ownership of Paramount (and Larry Ellison with his son David), CBS News is now doing real reporting exposing government fraud in California. Now Ellison is also buying CNN along with all of the assets at Warner Brothers Discovery. The far left wing "reporters" are CNN are in a full blown panic that they will no longer be able to promote their radical left agenda. The far left was counting on their Obama allies at Netflix to purchase Warner Bros (and CNN). However the Ellison family outbid Netflix with $110 billion. Radical left wing senators like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren are trying to claim "national security concerns" to block the merger. In reality, they are terrified at the though of the left losing their control on the media narrative.

So let's talk a bit about the history of Hezbollah... Hezbollah was founded in the early 1980s during the Lebanese Civil War, a period marked by intense sectarian violence. However, the group was specifically created to follow the model of Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution. Their openly stated goals, laid out in their 1985 manifesto, included: The destruction of Israel The establishment of an Islamic state in Lebanon, modeled after Iran and loyal to Iran’s Supreme Leader Hezbollah didn’t limit its attacks to Israelis. They also targeted Sunni Muslims, Christians, and Westerners — most notably killing 241 U.S. Marines in the 1983 Beirut barracks bombing. From the beginning, Hezbollah functioned as an Iranian-backed Islamic Republic entity operating inside Lebanon, working to undermine the Lebanese state. As a direct terror proxy for Iran, it has always refused to disarm. For years, Hezbollah regularly launched attacks into Israel, provoking several major flare-ups. The largest was the 2006 war, which began when Hezbollah raided Israel, killed several soldiers, and abducted two others. Israel responded with a major offensive, and Hezbollah fired thousands of rockets into Israeli cities. That war ended with UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which called for Israel to withdraw from southern Lebanon. In exchange, the Lebanese army and UNIFIL (UN peacekeeping forces) were supposed to take control of the area and disarm Hezbollah south of the Litani River. Neither the UN nor the Lebanese forces ever enforced this requirement. They stood by as Hezbollah, heavily backed by Iran, built up a massive arsenal of over 150,000 rockets in the very region where it was supposed to be disarmed. Many of these rockets were placed in civilian homes and villages. During this period, Hezbollah also diverted much of its fighting force to help Iran’s ally, Bashar al-Assad, massacre civilians and prop up the regime in Syria. Despite this growing threat and the clear violation of Resolution 1701, Israel largely held back between 2006 and 2023. Then, on October 8, 2023 — just one day after the October 7 Hamas massacre — Hezbollah, clearly under orders from Tehran, opened a second front, firing rockets and drones at northern Israel. This forced Israel to evacuate tens of thousands of civilians from the north and eventually respond more forcefully. In 2024, Israel carried out the pager operation, eliminated most of Hezbollah’s senior leadership, and launched a limited ground invasion that significantly degraded the group’s arsenal. In November 2024, the U.S. brokered another ceasefire. Once again, the agreement required Hezbollah to disarm south of the Litani River in accordance with Resolution 1701. Once again, the Lebanese army and UNIFIL failed to enforce it. After Israel began striking Iran in March 2025, Hezbollah resumed rocket attacks on Israel. Once again, the lack of follow-through on the disarmament commitments made the conflict inevitable. In summary, Iran established Hezbollah as a terror proxy to occupy southern Lebanon, with the explicit goals of destroying Israel and turning Lebanon — a country that was once Christian-majority — into an Islamic state. The UN and Lebanese government repeatedly promise to address the problem but never follow through. As a result, both Lebanon and Israel keep getting dragged into wars dictated by Tehran. Israel has no active conflicts with Arab neighbors that do not host terror groups openly dedicated to its destruction. The solution is clear: Lebanon must finally take back control of its own country and enforce Resolution 1701 by dismantling Hezbollah. Until that happens, the cycle will continue.

I think the @NYT got this one wrong…I don’t think Trump “backed down” — I think it was Iran that backed down since I think they knew Trump was going to hit them hard…what do you think ?

🚨 CHILE SIDES WITH ARGENTINA ON THE FALKLANDS Chile has officially declared its support for Argentina’s claim over the Falkland Islands. This came in a joint statement after a meeting between the two countries’ leaders. The Falklands are British territory - defended with British blood in 1982. Now more countries are openly testing us because they sense weakness in London. Britain must make it crystal clear: The Falklands are ours and will remain ours forever.

I've taught European history for 30 years. Americans have always asked me how the Holocaust was possible, how Germans could have enabled a madman reveling in mass murder to carry out his plans. Now we can see in real time how this is enabled; now we have front-row seats.

The President’s threat that “a whole civilization will die tonight” cannot be excused away as an attempt to gain leverage in negotiations with Iran. This type of rhetoric is an affront to the ideals our nation has sought to uphold and promote around the world for nearly 250 years. It undermines our long-standing role as a global beacon of freedom and directly endangers Americans both abroad and at home. The oppressive, terror-spreading regime of the Islamic Republic must be distinguished from the people and the civilization of Iran. Everyone involved—especially the President and Iran’s leaders—must de-escalate their unprecedented saber-rattling before it is too late.

I repeat: The U.S. sent thousands of its 19 years old soldiers to die in Normandy, to free Europe and to end the biggest crime against humanity ever commited - by Europeans. It was just 81 years ago. The whole reason, France, Benelux etc. 🇫🇷 exist today is because of this heroism. My grandparents could grow up in a liberal democracy. Without the U.S. they would be raised at the H*tler Youth. We Europeans would still be in wars again and again, like 1914, 1866, 1870, 1795 etc. They brought peace, democracy, liberty and human rights. They invested billions of U.S. Dollars into Europe with the Marshall Fund. They gave us more than we ever had in our history before. They protected us for 7 decades with hundreds of thousands of soldiers against the cruelties of the Soviet Union. The terror we can see nowadays in Donetsk, would have happened in Bavaria, Bourgogne or the Netherlands in 1950 if there wasn’t the U.S. 🇺🇸 Who do we Europeans think we are to let that nation down, act like bad allies, calling their President names every day on television - and have full confidence we stand better alone. All of instagram is just about, why we’re better than the U.S. We owe them so much. We Europeans are most arrogant species on earth. And to cure this we have to face the truth.

My biggest pet peeve: What time is dinner, Christy? Me: 6pm. Inlaws: Ok Me: See ya then. (Knowing they won't be here on time.) Currently 6:45. Kids:" I hate when they dont value our time. It's like this every holiday."(Last time they showed up 2 and a half hours late) Me: "They work a farm. Sometimes, it's like that." In my head: It's still rude. They can never be on time even when they don't have chickens. But holding my tongue. Biggest pet peeve. Never on time.

In Tehran today, Iranian Christians gathered for Easter at Saint Sarkis Cathedral. Iran has one of the oldest continuous Christian communities in the world — over 2,000 years old. These are the people that Trump wants to bomb “back to Stone Age.”

@hey_mindi I’m very sorry. We spent $9000 in 2019/2020 trying to save our wonderful Ellie but had to put her down. This week we had to pay $75 for a quick exam on Ryely so the vet could renew the allergy meds she’s been on for over a year. Mandated by Washington state. It’s a racket.

There is something catastrophically wrong with Americas vet business. I sat for 3 hours yesterday with our 11 year old dog. Test after test. I kept signing financial agreement papers, desperate to find an answer to what’s wrong. Every step of the way, a thorough explanation of the need to do xyz. Always with the sentence at the end “that runs $____” Sign this. By the end of the 3 hours, my choices were pay $5000 to admit her for the rest of the afternoon or put her down. I couldn’t think straight. I walked in with her hours prior thinking she just had some little bug that would be simple to resolve. I can’t stop thinking about how many people would have to choose option 2, because $5000 out of left field isn’t possible to pay. I also can’t believe that I was forced to sit and watch a 14 min vaccine commercial reel on repeat for 3 hours while I contemplated our devastating circumstances. This can’t be the norm. If you have a prayer, I humbly ask if you’d lift our family up this Easter Sunday.
