Do you need to be courageous and strong… or just comfortable? Because life will ask you that question in ways that don’t feel polite. Courage is not loud. It’s the quiet decision to step forward when your legs are shaking. Just like srength, it is not absence of fear — it’s moving anyway. It’s like standing at the edge of a river you must cross. You can stay safe on one side… or step in, feel the cold, and reach the other side where your life is waiting. That difficult conversation. That risk. That next move you’ve been postponing. You already know. “Be courageous and strong… Jehovah your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9) You don’t need perfect conditions. You need a decision. Step forward.

Do you sometimes feel like you’ve had enough? Like everything is heavy at once… and even breathing feels like work? You’re not weak. You’re human. Even a cup overflows when too much is poured into it. That doesn’t mean the cup is useless — it means it needs to be emptied, steadied, and held again. Life can press hard — bills, expectations, disappointments, silent battles nobody sees. But “enough” doesn’t mean the end… sometimes it’s the point where change begins. Pause. Cry if you need to. Breathe. Then take one more step. Not ten. Not everything. Just one. Because many people didn’t break at their lowest… they found a new strength there. You’re still here. That means your story is not finished. ~ A Day Is Too Long Have a fruitful day, friends.

Be careful up there. Falling from the top to the lowest level happens faster than people think. One bad decision… one moment of pride… one careless step — and the same height that made you visible becomes the distance that breaks you. It’s like climbing a tall ladder without checking your footing. The higher you go, the less room you have for mistakes. And when you fall? It’s not always lonely down there… you’ll find others who slipped too. But here’s the part many forget: You can rise again. Scars don’t end the story — they become the lesson. The same ground you hit can become the place you rebuild stronger. So stay careful at the top. Stay humble. Stay alert. And if you’ve fallen… Don’t settle there. Climb again.

The strongest man in the Bible didn’t fall in battle. Samson fell on a pillow. He tore lions apart with his bare hands. He broke ropes like thread. He defeated armies. But one quiet night, he laid his head on Delilah’s lap… and started talking. Little by little she pressed him. Little by little he revealed his secret. And the man who could defeat soldiers… could not defeat his own weakness. When Samson woke up, his strength was gone. The lesson is uncomfortable. Many strong men are not destroyed by enemies. They are destroyed by what they refuse to control. Sometimes the real danger in life is not the battle outside the gate… It’s the conversation on the pillow. What do you think really destroyed Samson — Delilah or his lack of discipline?

I agree with one part: having children demands responsibility. People should think seriously before bringing lives into the world. But I can’t agree that having children without money automatically means giving birth to criminals, beggars, or prostitutes. That is too harsh, and it is not true. Poverty is hard, yes. It can wound dignity and limit options. But poverty is not a prophecy. A child born into a humble home is not born with a criminal destiny or loose life stamped on the forehead. I came from a humble background myself, and all my siblings turned out successful — in fact, better grounded than some rich men’s children we knew while growing up. Money helps, no doubt. But money is not the only thing that raises a child. Values matter. Discipline matters. Love matters. Training matters. It’s like planting seeds. Rich soil helps, but even simple soil can grow strong trees if it is tended well. And even fertile land can produce weeds if nobody cares for it. The Bible says, “It is better to be poor and walk in integrity Than to be stupid and speak lies.” — Proverbs 19:1 That tells you clearly that poverty and wickedness are not the same thing. So yes, let people be responsible. Let people plan. Let people count the cost. But let us not insult the poor as if lack of money means lack of future. Some of the finest people in this world started with very little — except character, courage, and a home that refused to give up. My take, though.

Stop having children if you have no money. You are giving birth to ashawo, criminals and beggars. There is no joy in suffering.

Real talk. Which one causes more problems in relationships? 1.Lack of money 2.Lack of respect Choose one and explain. To me, the lack of number 1 leads to number 2.

The crowd is not always the compass. Sometimes the bravest decision is simply thinking for yourself. “You cannot find your direction by following a crowd that does not know where it’s going.” — A Day Is Too Long

Be honest. Have you ever planned to do the right thing… and somehow ended up doing the opposite? The Bible captured this struggle perfectly: “When I wish to do what is right, what is bad is present with me.” — Romans 7:21 It’s like trying to drive straight while someone keeps pulling the steering wheel. Being human is a daily battle between what we know is right and what we feel like doing. What helps you win that battle?

Oku, my brother, that beard is carrying serious authority. Clean look, calm presence — you look like a man who knows where he’s going even in chaos around him. 👌🏾 I tried to grow a beard like this once too. It almost caused World War III in my house. My kids loved it and said I looked like a superhero. My wife looked at me like I had joined a biker gang. In the end, I had to cut it to keep peace in the “other room.”Marriage sometimes requires… strategic diplomacy. 😄

You’ve been dropping some solid philosophical thoughts today, and this one hits too. The truth is, wealth may change a man’s environment, but it rarely changes the basic conversations of men. Put ten men in a room — rich or poor — and before long someone will mention football, women, politics, or life’s struggles. Money may change the table, but it doesn’t change the human nature sitting around it. So you’re right: being broke doesn’t make anyone stupid. Sometimes it simply means the opportunity hasn’t come yet. The danger is when people start using money to build invisible fences around ordinary conversations. Life is not that mystical.

Many people say they want success. But success is expensive. It costs: • Comfort • Sleep • Excuses • Some friendships • And many lazy evenings The question is not “Do you want success?” The real question is: What are you willing to pay for it?

The Secret of Resilience Resilience isn’t strength. It’s permission. to fall. to feel. to rise again without shame. Failure doesn’t end your story. Refusal to rise does. Stand again — even if you’re trembling. ~ A Day Is Too Long
