THIS IS CHRISTMAS: spending time with those you love the most. Love from us to you, wishing the very happiest of holidays!
my only regret is that @rakeyohn007 was too inept to remember that we were taking this photo and he left ahead of time!

In the inaugural (and maybe never repeated) edition of “Ask @joefrantzrules”, @RakeYohn007 would like Joe to help digest the following quote concerning the filming of the new @FrankensteinGDT -
@jasonmyrt Still miss you man. Need you to teach me who the F is on our team now🤣.

I Figure this is the best way to address a question I have gotten a ton this weekend. Many people have inquired about my health and recent scans and how I am doing. Since I decided to be very transparent about this cancer battle that I am fighting I won’t sugarcoat anything. That would be me lying and. Deceitful. To answer the questions I have gotten I need to break the answer down in 3 ways. Physically, mentally and professionally. So here goes.
Physically: I feel improved. I still suffer from fatigue quite a bit and deal with sudden bouts of pain and discomfort at times. Not all the time, but at times.
Mentally: I won’t sugarcoat it. I am not doing well. The mind is a tricky thing. While I am optimistic the anxiety of scans and pending results are quite daunting. My Dad was diagnosed on December 15th 2015, 2 weeks later he found out he was metastatic to the brain and died 10 weeks later. Not saying that is my fate, but this things resonate in your mind. Also not knowing the results of my recent CT Scans and MRI which I will now have tomorrow is very difficult.
Professionally: I am thrilled to be back doing what I love. Back doing Flyers hockey, talking sports, being back on the radio in a part time capacity.
I hope this kind of clears the up the picture of where things stand for me. When I get the results of my recents scans and tests I will be public about it no matter what they say.
Everyone support is so appreciated and me and my tireless wife who is going through this by my side cannot thank you enough.
