Paige Rogers is a sophomore at a Christian college in Kentucky who was fired from her job at a local coffee shop because she answered questions from two coworkers about her beliefs. They asked Paige about her beliefs on marriage, sexuality, and other topics. She answered honestly and respectfully, and a week later received a text saying that her employment was being terminated immediately because she had violated policies about workplace conduct. Ridiculous. Paige is right—no one should be fired for respectfully sharing their religious viewpoints—especially when asked. Would you pray for Paige and share an encouraging word in the comments below? foxnews.com/opinion/cowork…

@Hovind_Official We can trust His Word and what it says. Please remember the "next day" begins at sunset, so the first evening (say Wed at sunset) is actually the next day (Thursday). The Hebrew days go from sunset to sunset.

THE MATH OF THE MESSIAH: Why a Friday Crucifixion is Mathematically Impossible Jesus said in Matthew 12:40: "For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." (KJV) If Jesus rose on Sunday morning (which the Bible confirms), and He was in the grave for THREE nights, the math simply does not support a Friday burial. God is not the author of confusion, and He certainly did not fail at basic arithmetic. THE MISSING KEY: The Two Sabbaths Most modern traditions miss the fact that the week of the Passover was a "Double Sabbath" week. Most people think "Sabbath" only means Saturday, but the Bible is clear: The High Day Sabbath: Leviticus 23 tells us the first day of Unleavened Bread is a Sabbath, regardless of what day of the week it falls on. John 19:31 explicitly says, "for that sabbath day was an high day." The Weekly Sabbath: The standard seventh-day rest (Saturday). THE 72-HOUR Play-By-Play WEDNESDAY: The Day of Preparation Jesus is crucified at the ninth hour (3:00 PM). He is placed in the tomb quickly before sunset because the "High Day" was coming. NIGHT 1: Wednesday Sunset to Thursday Sunrise. THURSDAY: The High Day Sabbath This was the Feast of Unleavened Bread. No work was allowed. The tomb was sealed and guarded. DAY 1: Thursday Sunrise to Thursday Sunset. NIGHT 2: Thursday Sunset to Friday Sunrise. FRIDAY: The "Window" of Work This is the "smoking gun" in the text. Mark 16:1 says the women bought spices AFTER the Sabbath was past. Luke 23:56 says they prepared the spices and THEN rested on the Sabbath. How could they buy spices after the Sabbath and prepare them before the Sabbath? Only if there were two different Sabbaths with a work day in between. Friday was that work day. DAY 2: Friday Sunrise to Friday Sunset. NIGHT 3: Friday Sunset to Saturday Sunrise. SATURDAY: The Weekly Sabbath The women rested according to the commandment. DAY 3: Saturday Sunrise to Saturday Sunset. THE RESURRECTION: 72 Hours Exactly At the very end of the Sabbath (Saturday at sunset), Jesus Christ walked out of that grave. He did not rise Sunday morning; He was ALREADY GONE by Sunday morning. When the women arrived "while it was yet dark" on Sunday, the tomb was already empty (John 20:1). WHY DOES THIS MATTER? If we cannot trust the Bible's math on the Resurrection, how can we trust it on Creation? #CreationScience #KJV #BibleMath #ThreeDaysAndThreeNights #DrKentHovind #BibleTimeline #Apologetics #WednesdayCrucifixion
