@AAARPGodess Our neighbor (in Hollis Hills) was friends with ownership so he took me to my first game ever, at Shea in ‘75… Sat in the first seats next to the Mets dugout, got autographs from everyone and before running onto the field Tom Seaver shook my little hand. I was hooked. :0)

@threeinningfan I think they get the Bennie of the doubt for it being the opening opening night extravaganza and making a big deal of it is always a good idea; that being said… If every broadcast has this presentation and vibe, and mid-game interviews and other BS.. Then it’s just like FOX.

@GoodFundies I am openly rooting against Diaz, I admit it. I hope to beat his ass, beat the Dodgers’ asses and will be great to do it in the playoffs. I blame him for the circumstance of his leaving the Mets, I did really want him to stay and not because I have the greatest faith in him.

@SleeperMets Make sure to play it on loudspeakers in the parking lot, as the Dodger fans arrive late and leave early… And those leaving still will be stuck in the parking lot while he is trying to close out the game (and my hope is that he fails). Mets need to beat the Dodgers this year!!

@PeterAppel23 (Cont) the next CBA ‘26 is going to be a bloodbath. And if that is the case, I would hope that MLB & MLBPA come to a true partnership based on how co-dependent they are, and each franchise of the two leagues is. The paradigm shift that is needed to make that happen is huge.

Why is Opening Day spread out over three days Giants and Yankees play on Wednesday, six teams don’t start the season until Friday Opening Day should be on April 1st every year featuring every team

@JVMonte2 I know all the controversies about The Final Cut, I feel horrible about how Richard Wright was treated, etc, etc. I love that album; I think two of Gilmour’s most emotional solos ever are on it, I thought the songs and themes were excellent. Yes, very much Roger heavy. I love it.
