Today game makes me so emotional. Regardless of the result, this England team are changing perceptions and attitudes to women’s football. I pray that this results in a space for young girls, and women in the nations game. It’s coming home 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿♥️

Every Monday morning my class engage in a topic of the week session. This week, I will be focusing on homelessness. The types, causes, and asking for potential solutions. I can’t wait to hear their thoughts! 🤩

This is disgusting. I know people will say we have no context and two sides to every story blah blah blah. There’s no excuse for this. And we wonder why so many teachers leave in their first five years. Too many leaders are stuck in their old ways.

After a couple of weeks off, I emailed some of my students informing them I would be back tomorrow. Their responses have melted my heart, makes it all feel worth while again 😭🤎

I keep saying I’ll go into school tomorrow and do my displays but I don’t think I really care. The only display in my room is the back wall so only I see them. It’s one big grey pinboard too. I feel I’m completely wasting my time doing them. Does this make me a bad teacher?

The dread I was feeling in regards to work last week is turning into excitement! 🤩

I don’t think grades have been inflated this year. Rather the true depth of knowledge and understanding each student possesses has been obtained via more fair and accurate means. Congrats to every student obtaining their A Level results today! 👏🏻🤎
