The Tampa Bay Rays have selected RHP Garrett Acton to the major league roster. To make room on the active and 40-man rosters, RHP Eric Orze has been optioned to Triple-A Durham and OF Jonny DeLuca has been transferred to the 60-day injured list. Acton will wear #54.

Two stellar months for our MnL Player and Pitcher of the Month! C Nathan Flewelling had the best month of his pro career in August, ultimately earning a promotion to A+ BG last week, and P Brody Hopkins continued his 2025 tear, posting a 0.87 ERA for AA MTG. Congrats, guys!

Aidan Smith is the South Atlantic League Player of the Week! Last week, Aidan slashed .455/.500/.909 with a 1.409 OPS, 3 SBs, and 3 HRs. Congrats, Aidan!

“He’s Carson Williams, the next big thing.” We can’t wait to watch, 77.

T.J. Nichols, take a bow! In just his second start with AA-Montgomery, T.J. threw 7 innings, allowing just 2 hits while striking out 7. In his two games as a Biscuit, he has 12 Ks in just as many innings pitched, and has yet to allow a run. Congrats, T.J.!

Two absolutely dominant performances last week by Homer Bush Jr. and Andreimi Antunez! Homer hit .522 while stealing 10 bases in just 6 games, and Andreimi had three multi-hit games (including one 5-hit game!) on the week. Congrats, guys!

In his last week with the Biscuits, Yoniel Curet won the MiLB Southern League Pitcher of the Week! Congrats, Yoniel! Good luck in Durham!
