Something I found surprisingly mature about the series is that Denji, while someone initially completely dominated by his appetites, discovers each time what he thinks he wants is entirely hollow, forcing him to grow as a person.

Saw the Chainsaw Man movie. There are a lot of shallow critiques a Conservative can make, but I will say the best moment of the film is when the sensitive young man insert breaks down because every romantic woman in his life keeps betraying him.
