@Gloomic0rn @TheNudeYogi @purity_culture @MiiChan1996_ Just to clarify, that was meant to be sarcasm

@purity_culture Have you considered that spices have historically been used to enrich Western countries at the expense of hundreds of millions of people across the world, and that by getting a Reaper order at Dave's Hot Chicken you're perpetuating those systems and the powers that be???????

@YoRHa2Pee I can see it happening when we get a new like medium for playing these games that gets mass adoption. Like VR (not saying this'll be it, but for example). I can see games like SH2, RE2R, etc. being remade from the ground up for a new audience. Could be wrong.

@JasonAntonyChe1 @H1BeesNuts Dude I promise you I meant that as a genuine question. I'm not even trying to poke holes I just want to understand his perspective.

You want to jeopardize everyone's safety, by forcing Digital I.D which goes to public Digital I.D.
Your Billboards and Kiosks can be hacked without internet security.
Why do you think Meta bribed 2 million dollers to congress - to promote Digital I.D?
Internet Security Big Tech didn't lobby, but they exist for a reason. Britain was hacked with it's Digital I.D and the politicians did not care - hack ,= stolen.

No doubt one of the biggest organizations pushing age verification via digital ID is Tony Blair.
Resist CBDC@Resist_CBDC
You think you hate Tony Blair enough. But you don’t. Because you can’t.

@WaifuverseAI For a lot of people I knew that voted for Trump, a large part of it was because it felt safe. Things were simpler when they were in middle school and didn't have much to worry for. Seeing him on the news was common. Voting for Trump, to them, was almost an act born from nostalgia

Zoomers never knew a world before trump. To them this is all normal.

Is it only millennials who can feel the world changing faster and faster and becoming more and more off putting, strange, and dark?

@Ravenismeee I had a good support system, and was fortunate enough to be raised in a household where I could be emotionally honest with my parents and relatives in a way that was emotionally constructive. I personally didn't do much. The best thing I did was get lucky.
English

@mysteriouskat Not a lot of people wake up wondering how to make the world a better place. A lot of people wake up scared and anxious, wondering how they're going to make ends meet. What happens from there is luck of the draw. An appealing headline, family influence. It doesn't take much.

@haydendevs It's hard to be curious when you can find much more immediately gratifying things to do with your time.

@Kasatka_4834 @Alt_Chimera Interesting, I haven't heard that perspective before. How so?
English

@Alt_Chimera I agree but don’t say that phrase, it’s a nazi slogan

Neutrality on Russia means you support this.
Neutrality is complicity.

My Odesa is on fire today 😔💔💔💔. 4 a.m. It has been a very hard night. Attacks on residential buildings and a maternity hospital — including not far from me. 💔💔💔

@xjoshwalker @actsmaniac You're right, thinking more on it. It'd be more accurate for me to say that independents are broadly not too concerned or involved with politics outside of natl. elections. Young voters as well seem to be growing more apathetic towards voting/developing political capital
English

I feel like Americans might be more political than ever actually. Maybe it’s me and I’m in weird circles, but I either hear someone yelling about Trump (in support) or telling about Trump (in attack) constantly.
Side note: I could be wrong. I feel there is an apathy amongst emerging voters, largely because they’re being fed catastrophic information hourly and believe there is nothing we can do to fix it.
English

@nyaraVT Half the voting population in this country believes there are roving tribes of immigrants traveling from city to city and eating cats and dogs. Many people don’t know how to critically analyze news. Many don’t consume news beyond sensationalist headlines. It’s all intentional

cìs people think trans people have free healthcare, housing and they’re paying for it
Mini Modu@MinModulation
non-trans people think that trans people don't pay taxes

@fearaidfangs I feel most kids shouldn’t be allowed to have pets for practice. It’s an intense responsibility but for whatever reason we have it in our heads that some domestic animals are less valuable than others. I really hope it ends soon.
English

@asheuriii What personally motivates you to be vegan? Is it an ethicality thing? Carbon emissions? Do you think false meats are an effective tool for getting more people to go vegan, or that they’re a waste of technology and energy?
English

@2beep2boop @leftwingpeony It'll never be enough for some people. A lot of these guys would rather brood in echo chambers than actually meaningfully organize for real change.
English

@RealByte1 @leftwingpeony It's crazy, because the no kings rallies are literally to get the average person on board with the idea of a general strike.

English

@2beep2boop @leftwingpeony Sustained disruptive direct action by larping as a revolutionary on a billionaire's playground. Some people need to use the internet less. I think we all should tbh.
English

@leftwingpeony The fastest way to get blocked by these chumps is to ask them what they're doing.

English

@bootleg_yeezys @grimzehy Oh, yeah. I'm not really trying to make a huge point, I was just trying to articulate why someone in those subcultures 'may' feel that way. I do accept that ultimately, if we're comparing the scale of it, then institutional oppression is a much more serious and overarching issue.
English

@RealByte1 @grimzehy I guess I’m just discussing the larger point of my tweet in response to what you said
