@river_is_nice I think we need to normalize beating the holy living hell out of people rhetorically (perhaps in a few cases, literally) for randomly filming people for no reason. If there's some public interest reason, ok, or it's funny/consensual/... but people need to stop being creeps.
6 years of living in Texas and I've come to the conclusion that the no state income tax thing is basically a scam. The property taxes are so high that they negate any savings. We are still paying as many taxes in Texas as we would in California. You save on gas I guess.
