It's so weird how people act like Namor being liked is some mystery He's older than all of your favorite marvel characters, he's existed for almost 9 decades now He's ALWAYS had fans otherwise he wouldn't still be a big player in modern comics to this day

@silverkreates @UncannySp1der Yeah no. Even as run was coming out Namor (and many T'Challa fans too) hated it. Not so much because "oh my blorbo suffers and forced to cross moral lines", but because of how lacking and in case of Namor dehumanizing it felt. There are good moments in that era and

@RealMttMrdck What is more insulting to me is trying to bash Namor with comics that you clearly didn’t read. Namor did absolutely nothing to help Norman during Dark Reign. Only the Hood was helping on that Cabal.

I can’t believe I need to say this again, but Namor was a massive character long before a lot of the other marvel heroes. It’s the reason he’s still around because in his era he was a best selling book he was more popular than cap and human torch.
