Notice that Leticia James and Comey were the only ones targeted by Republican lawfare. Trump did not go after Biden or Hillary or Obama or Kamala because those weren't the people directly responsible for engaging in blatant illegal lawfare against him. If you use the law enforcement apparatus as a political weapon, the only correct response is for you to lose political power and then have the law enforcement apparatus used against you in return. That's the only feedback mechanism to stop bad actors. And as long as it ends with those two individuals, there's no reason to turn it around in reverse when Trump leaves office. Trump made his point and then dropped it, just as you said.

It would be a way more convincing argument to get people to give up on the idea of a bloody, violent Communist revomution that pours into the streets of every neighbkrhood in America. I don't know where you're getting that, other than from residual trauma interacting with the left. The only thing you can get canceled for on the mainstream right is Jew hatred that goes beyond reasonable criticism of the Israeli government into space lasers conspiracy theory territory, and calling the Israelis "genociders" for killing the people who have been trying to kill them every day for the last 75 years. Other than that I don't know of anything I can't disagree with someone on the right about respectfully and amicably.

The key is separating perception of group dynamics from our perceptions of individuals. The group dynamics exist. Talking about cultural problems in any community that has a disproportionate level of negative outcomes shouldn't be taboo. The people bringing up those problems shouldn't use them as a weapon against individuals, and people in the target groups who aren't part of the problem need to stop taking that criticism personally because that discussion isn't about them. You're right that some people demand agreement on everything. That's a problem. There are places where disagreements are an existential threat, but if we don't pick our battles we will get divided over stupid shit and be unable to u ite on the important things we agree about. Unrelated to previois topics but relevant to my point. I hate what the podcast world on the right is doing right now because I'm fully in the Shapiro camp, but I used to really like Tucker and Candace. I'm Jewish (Messianic) so it scares the fuck out of me what the groypers are trying to do right now. It's not good for the right, or for humanity as a whole. I can do disagreement over policy, but right now the groypers are violating that principle of applying group dynamics to individuals and it's a genuine threat.
