Major League Baseball is aired in the morning for Japan. So technically they eat breakfast with it being on television.
Here’s their #openingday commercial. No hyperbole, when I say this, it might be greater than any US MLB commercial I’ve seen. Well done and worth the watch for any baseball fan.

@Gnew_cards Cards that changed the hobby or define eras in it. And I admit it’s subjective. It just seems egregious to not include US175 on a list of “most important cards” because that one seems more objective than any other modern card. 😂

1989 Upper Deck # 1 Ken Griffey Jr.
If Billy Ripken sparked a fire in the hobby, this card threw gasoline on it and set an industrial fan on high to stoke that fire. Dramatic story(probably printed into late 1990, photoshop before photoshop, PREMIUM STOCK…this card has it all.
