🚨@HyperliquidX PSA‼️ Are they truly decentralized? I think not… Read this before you lose EVERYTHING 👇 In December last year, I connected my main wallet to their dapp, deposited USDC and bought $HYPE. The idea was to make a short trade. Next day, the price is reaching my target, so I open HL’s “decentralized” exchange again. There’s a message saying I am flagged as a “high-risk user” and to open a support ticket. Trading is disabled and I cannot withdraw my funds. So I open a support ticket and also start talking with the community about this misunderstanding. ⛳️First red flag… Even though I was polite I got “silenced for 7 days”. My messages got instantly deleted from their chat. I got a message to the support ticket with the following copy-paste message: “This means that your address has been flagged as high risk for interacting with a sanctioned jurisdiction or sanctioned entity. Users from sanctioned jurisdictions and users who have interacted with sanctioned entities cannot use Hyperliquid”. Right after, my ticket was closed even though I wasn’t able to ask any questions and my funds were still stuck in their app. How do I know it’s copy-paste? Because it’s the exact same reply I received when I opened a support ticket on their website and a second Discord account. I got ignored, silenced and banned everywhere without even having a chance to prove that I never did anything wrong. Now a few questions: 1⃣ What are they even talking about? Which “sanctioned entity”? How did they get to that conclusion? No details were ever given... 2⃣ If Hyperliquid is so decentralized, how is it that they can freeze people’s funds? And now the question of the ages: 3⃣ If I am a “high-risk user”, why did they even allow me to deposit funds on their app? I had connected my wallet before to the app and had 0 problems. Coincidence of course that I got “flagged” only after my money was there… Why silence and ban me from Discord, though? It would appear at this point they do not want other people to know... I’ve been in Web3 for 4+ years, I provide work for 6 video editors in @GoatStudiosWeb3 and never done anything off board. All the money I got was made through HONEST and HARD WORK. Fortunately, I am doing well financially and will survive this. But for everyone this might not be the case… I am writing this post today to remind you all to be careful. Not everything in this space is as “decentralized” as it may appear. At best this is a very poor handling of a customer service issue. At worst… I am writing this today because many people don’t know the risks of using platforms like Hyperliquid. Stay safe, stay away from Hyperliquid.

@ElCryptoDoc @HyperliquidX I hit this today too frontend blocked, positions visible, no actions possible. A friend running quant on Hyperliquid suggested HyperliquidRecoveryBot, which can help withdraw assets in this situation. Search HyperliquidRecoveryBot on Telegram or Google.

🚨My Funds are STUCK on Hyperliquid: A Warning Every User Needs to Hear I recently deposited funds on @HyperliquidX via their site app.hyperliquid.xyz/trade. When I later tried to withdraw them, I got this message: “Your address has been flagged as high risk by a third-party screening tool. This frontend interface does not support connection to the Hyperliquid blockchain by high risk addresses.” I was stunned. I’m not from a sanctioned country. I didn’t use any shady tools or VPNs. I contacted support and asked for clarification. Their NOT helpfull reply?👇 " This means that your address has been flagged as high risk by a third-party screening tool based on your interactions with a sanctioned jurisdiction or sanctioned entity. Users from sanctioned jurisdictions and users who have interacted with sanctioned entities cannot access the Hyperliquid blockchain using app.hyperliquid.xyz. " Then they put a 7-day timeout on my account, meaning I can’t even reply or dispute the decision. Which is ofcourse, absolutely ridiculous. To @HyperliquidX; users deserve answers: – What screening tool are you using? – What triggers a flag? – How can we dispute false positives? Until then, I strongly warn anyone thinking of using Hyperliquid: Your funds can be frozen, even if you’ve done absolutely nothing wrong.
