In a culture confused about what it means to be a man, Scripture calls men to a higher standard: courage without compromise, leadership without ego, and strength shaped by sacrifice. In this episode, I walk through 12 biblical traits of godly masculinity rooted in the example of Jesus and the pattern of faithful men in Scripture. This is a call for men to rise, not in pride, but in purpose. If you want to grow in character, lead your home with humility, carry your cross with courage, and build a legacy that honors God, this message is for you. 👉 Listen with this link, or wherever you stream your podcasts, on the Perspectives with Joseph Mattera show josephmattera.org/podcast/

If Sunday is your only spiritual meal, you’ll starve in the battle. You weren’t made to live on secondhand revelation. God invites you to the table—daily. 📖 Open the Word 🔥 Pray without ceasing 🙌 Walk in the Spirit Borrowed faith won’t carry you through the storm.

There comes a time and season in life when your pace changes—not because you’ve lost your way, but because wisdom teaches you to walk differently. The urgency of youth gives way to the steadiness of experience. The need to prove is replaced by the desire to impart. The rush to achieve is overtaken by the longing to invest in what truly lasts. This shift isn’t about slowing down for the sake of it; it’s about moving with intention, carrying the weight of what matters, and letting go of what no longer serves. It’s about discerning where your presence is most needed, where your voice carries the most impact, and where your energy is best spent. When this season comes, the question isn’t whether you can keep up with the pace of the past, but whether you are willing to embrace the pace that wisdom now invites you into.
