@nikkimorosca Wolf spiders and some others have a tapetum lucidum that reflects (like a cat’s eyes) but recluses do not!

Based on the "eye shine" this is a harmless wolf spider (family Lycosidae). Certainly #NotARecluse!

This is an aptly named crevice weaver in genus Kukulcania, #NotARecluse!

This is a harmless false wolf spider in family Zoropsidae, #NotARecluse.
Notice the 8 eyes in 2 rows--a recluse would have only 6 eyes arranged in 3 pairs.

@RecluseOrNot saw this friend on my mirror at 4am, snapped a photo as I was relocating him (note my advanced toilet-paper-roll technique 😅); I'd guess he's a crevice weaver of some variety, but curious nonetheless. taken in north Georgia
