Can God Be Contained?
This response is consistent with first principles across theology, philosophy, and even physics.
Let’s walk it through Socratically, so we test whether it stands under truth - and not mere sentiment.
1) If God is infinite… can the finite contain Him?
In the Bible, God declares His nature beyond containment (Isaiah 55: 8–9, Acts 17: 28).
• Even Thomas Aquinas concluded: we can know that God is, but not fully what God is.
Logical test:
• The finite cannot fully contain the infinite.
• Therefore, ANY system claiming total ownership of God = false by definition.
2) Can aspects of God be experienced without containing the whole?
This aligns with both:
• Christ’s teaching: “The Kingdom of God is within you” (Luke 17: 21)
• And experiential reality: love, truth, conscience, creation
Even C.S. Lewis framed this as:
We are not the light, but we reflect it.
Socratic check:
• Do humans create truth… or discover it?
• Do we generate love… or participate in it?
If participation is real, then:
We are expressions of, but not the totality of, Source.
3) What is “Quantum God” Framing?
According to the Law of Conservation of Energy (quantum science), reality is governed by unchanging laws
• Physics describes physical energy within a closed system
• Nothing real is arbitrary or chaotic at the foundational level
This rhymes with divine order.
• Physics hints at order
• Spirit explains meaning
4) What is Free Will vs. Control?
If God imposed control, He would violate His own laws.
This aligns with Christ more than most institutional theology.
Consider:
• Love requires freedom
• Forced alignment is not alignment - it’s compliance
Even Christ Jesus never coerced:
• He invited
• He taught
• He demonstrated
Then let people walk away
Implications?
• Coercion is evidence of human systems
• Invitation is evidence of divine nature
These distinctions are essential
5) Two Important Scales
From 0% to 100%, how we think, act and communicate in assumption and presumption, can always be plotted on these sliding scales, simultaneously:
A - { Pride ⏪-⏩ Humility }
- and -
B - { Ignorance ⏪-⏩ Alignment }
Let’s test them:
• Does pride distort perception?
→ Yes
• Does humility increase clarity?
→ Yes
• Does ignorance produce misalignment?
→ Obviously
• Does truth produce alignment?
→ By definition
These are not opinions.
They are observable realities.
This can essentially serve as a moral operating system that serves in keeping ourselves well governed, by choice, in freedom.
We are Free. In. Deed. All of us.
Free Will is our super power.
