Bailey Maupin reflects on her time as a Lady Raider following her last game for #TexasTech:

After taking a year off, Snudda Collins came back for one more season of college basketball and transferred to #TexasTech. She became someone the #LadyRaiders could count on to come off the bench and produce, finishing this season averaging 14.6 points a game (8 points today against LSU).

Texas Tech hasn't faced Alabama since November 14, 2013 but they have faced Crimson Tide head coach Nate Oats more recently. The Red Raiders beat Buffalo in the second round of the 2019 NCAA Tournament. It was Oats’ final game with the Bulls.

The #LadyRaiders next opponent LSU ranks first in the nation in points per game (95.1) and has put up 15 100+ point performances this season. #TexasTech senior guard Bailey Maupin says tomorrow's game against the Tigers will be all about defense:

The #LadyRaiders are dancing for the first time in 13 years and a win tomorrow would be their first in the NCAA tournament in 21 years. Today #TexasTech women’s basketball shared more on this historic season and what’s on deck as they face Villanova:

Playing in the NCAA tournament is something #LadyRaiders senior guard Bailey Maupin has always dreamed of, well after playing for #TexasTech of course. The All-Big 12 First Team guard leads the team with an average of 15.1 points a game and 27 double-digit scoring games this season.

March 20, 1993 The @LadyRaiderWBB began their run to a national title with a 70-64 win over Washington in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. @sherylswoopes22 had 30 points and 11 rebounds & @CoachGerlich added 13 points and 8 rebounds in the win over the Huskies.

March 19, 2005 6-seed Texas Tech knocked off 3-seed Gonzaga, 71-69, in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Ronald Ross hits the go-ahead three-pointer to put the Red Raiders in front with 1:06 remaining and help send Texas Tech to the Sweet 16.

#LadyRaiders are off to Baton Rouge!

Texas Tech's Linkin Garcia enters Tuesday's game with DBU ranked 13th in the nation in runs batted it. His 32 RBI are also the most by a freshman.

Texas Tech softball will no longer play Stetson and Florida State this week due to travel complications brought on by weather according to a Texas Tech press release. Both games are canceled and are not planned to be rescheduled. Next up: at UCF, Friday 5 p.m.

It's not #TexasTech guard Christian Anderson's first rodeo (well NCAA tournament) The sophomore recorded 22 points and 3 assists in that Sweet 16 win over Arkansas but had just 4 points and 4 assists in the Elite 8 loss to Florida. His experience is something the #RedRaiders say is a strength this time around.
