@benonwine Planning permission was granted in June 2024. Labour came to power in July 2024.

@MumbrianSpinner I had a Lipoma removed back in August and got in on a cancellation and only had a weeks notice. Phone call 11am Monday morning for 7am the next Monday and 5 weeks recovering.

@knittykittywool I did some googling for my Grandparents on how to get the letter from the Queen for their 60th, you get the smae letter for 70th too instead of 75th as not many couples reached 75th anniversary. Grandfather got a card from the Queen on his 100th birthday too.

@EscortVehicle It needs a couple of ab loads to come in and box that wagon in till the embargo ends 😉

@MamaMoose_Be TBH rarely I use the train for long distances, looked at going to Dunfirmline from Bristol last year but £500 for the pair of us compared to £200 flying to Edinburgh and another £60 geting to and from the airports makes sense.
English

@Redveee I have done both and both work incredibly well. You’ll be able to claim delay repay now on third parties too! With us I had two tickets, 2nd class and upgrade via seatfrog. Lner handled both

@MamaMoose_Be Trainline is handy for finding times and service operators then you go direct to them for tickets.
English

@MamaMoose_Be I wasn't really aware of delay repay as most of my trains had been within the ontime timeframe, then I caught a train to Cardiff when the rugby was on and got delayed by 20 mins within site of the station and I'd bought my ticket through the service operator not Trainline.

@CB_cycles All you can eat places are bad, you go in with the best intentions of little portions but that soon goes out of the window. A place in Bristol does jelly beans and on one visit me and the OH 3/4 emptied the container, approx 3kg of jelly beans. We got our monies worth that night.

Hell yeah I talk to cats. Who the hell else am I going to talk to? 😂🤷♀️😻😻

I talk to cats. Do you talk to cats?

@rgoucher @modernheroestv Have you had the disco blue/green lights yet?
English
@modernheroestv Our local bus service (X4 from Bristol to Portishead) uses those Yutong electric buses. They are really nice. Modern, comfortable, silent and have USB charging ports, way better than the crappy diesel buses they used to use.

@tiff_tv @OfficialWRC Thank you, I can remember wandering over to Ashton Court and watching it as a 12yr old.
English

Wonderful to read that the @OfficialWRC will return to Britain next year with an event based in Scotland. I actually competed in the Scottish rally many years ago and they've got some fantastic gravel stages up there.
English

@DougMcfarlane59 @RBashal The driver will remember that place too, it'll be where he had endorsements aplenty on his licence.
English

@CB_cycles Rode to Wells from Bristol for Tour of Britain, relatively flat route apart from the little hill in Cheddar but was rewarded with a 40mph downhill into Wells.
English

1/4 I went to visit the city of Wells yesterday. I've often traveled through the place but very rarely stop to look around #Wells #Somerset #WellsCathederal

@ChopsyBristol Local VOSA/Traffic Comissioner would have a field day on that bus. Would be better for the company to cancel the service than send a defective bus out on service.
English

@KenGoodwinITV @sturgios OH was told years ago by a park warden in Cardiff sweetcorn and peas as well as hard biscuits that won't absorb water is better than bread.
English

@sturgios What they are not mentioning, and should, is how much bread attracts rats. Lots of them.
