I was always a Royalist. I adored our late Queen. She was an incredible lady who served the Nation selflessly. When she passed I was genuinely upset. She had been there my entire life. But now, I’m so disgusted at the stance of our King, his ignorant refusal to acknowledge Easter, especially as the Head of the Church of England, has made me reassess the purpose of the Monarchy. It doesn’t seem to represent the British People anymore. It doesn’t even feel like we’re their priority. Our late Queen would be horrified.
