#ReliefRiders began the week by donating 15 bicycles to select school kids from Vivekananda Rural School. Bicycle Councillor Capt. @AshaRajdev from Ward 111 took the lead in crowdfunding this effort and worked with Rotary Heath City to make this donation happen. #cycles #Donation

With the unlock coming into play, here is a summary of what we have accomplished. 841 sorties, covering 12817 Kms, and saving 3204 Kgs of CO2 emissions. This is the equivalent of what 146 trees absorb in one year. #cycleforthecause #reliefridersbangalore #lockdownupdate

A home with 3 people aged 85 - 95. With the only caretaker confined to the first floor due to testing positive, the elderlies were left with no aid. Led to a long term relationship with frequent medicine drop offs, check in calls, and ofcourse, the occasional diaper runs.

Today Relief Riders delivered 17 ration supplies to 17 needy families in Hubballi-Dharwad, in association with Help the Needy Org. We have 15 more ration supplies planned for tomorrow and more in the days to come #cycleforthecause #reliefridersindia #cycleforacause #reliefriders

After picking up the items requested by a daughter, for her hospitalised father, she headed to the hospital where the delivery was to be made. On reaching there, she was asked to wait for the person in charge to pick up the items. #ReliefRiders #reliefridersindia #COVID19

We delivered medicines requested by his cousin who keeps an eye out for him while he stays at an old age home. A week later, the same sortie was made by two different riders. And both of them asked about the riders from the first sortie, by name, and their wellbeing! #kindness

Three riders left their homes at 7:30 AM and delivered the items by 8:30 to a very happy woman. It’s a tiny window into the lives of the requestors, and we couldn’t help but smile while we picked the lady’s beloved Shamanti flowers. #reliefriders #reliefridersindia
