The 'Games as a Service' model was forced on everyone by the Games industry, whether it's Always Online or Microtransactions, not a single Gamer consented to such unethical business practices becoming the norm, we resisted for years and they used global the marketplace to abandon us.
Now there are people actually saying it would be "going too far" for us to reverse that engineered outcome, screw that noise! This type of Law is good for all Gamers, and it will force the industry to reorient its business model accordingly.
America has the largest consumer markets in the world, so if you think all those massive corporations will just abandon our money, you are fooling yourself, they will bend over backwards to retain access, it's time to grow some balls and demand better.
