This is a stressful night for all Iranians. My family and I have huddled together, having spent all our money stocking up on non-spoiling necessities. We're now completely out of funds as people are not getting paid. Unsure what the next few hours will bring — but we are as ready as we’ll ever be. Whatever happens, as long as enough of Iran remains to save, we Iranians will rise up and topple this regime. If the electricity goes out, so does our internet. Even my Starlink won’t work then. If that happens, I want to thank @Starlink for being a most welcome light in our darkness. Every single piece of real information that has ever come out of Iran — whether directly or indirectly through VPNs like V2ray that first connect via Starlink — has only been possible because of Starlink. Everything else is just regime propaganda from agents with their special white SIM cards that have unrestricted access. The Islamic Republic worships death and kills its own citizens with impunity. I pray that president Trump delivers on his promise, and that the US and Israel level the playing field so we can finally deal with the regime — without destroying too much of Iran, so there’s still something left to save and rebuild. Sie denken das zu klein. Und haben damit natürlich völlig recht. Das ist das Problem des Westens und unserer Werte. Die Gegenentwürfe zu unseren Lebensidealen denken mindestens in Jahrhunderten. Würde man "gewinnen" wollen, müsste man sich von der Sentimentalität des Jetzt lösen. Von den Kulleraugen vor dem Kraftwerk. Trump versteht sich als Jahrtausend-Ereignis. Und auch er hat damit völlig recht.

Und sie meinen die sind freier, wenn man ihnen ihre Kraftwerke, ihre Universitäten, ihre Krankenhäuser... ihre Wohnungen, ihre Brücken - und alles - was ihr unter US Sanktionen sowieso schon beschwerliches Leben - weg bombt... weil sie sich dann damit nicht mehr belasten müssen? Hat das in anderen Ländern (die wesentlich schwächer waren - denn der Iran) - bisher funktioniert, und das Leben der Menschen dort verbessert?! Wovon befreit man sie denn hier? Von ihren Lebensgrundlagen?

As an Iranian who stayed connected through Starlink during the total internet blackout, I want to wholeheartedly confirm what President Trump just said: "The Iranian people want to be free. They have lived in a world that you know NOTHING about." For 47 years, my people have endured systematic torture, rape, murder, humiliation, anxiety, suppression, and grief under the Islamic Republic. It’s been a long, grinding suffering — punctuated by brutal spikes like the January protests, mass executions, and now war. The world has no idea of the scale or depth of these horrors. Only when this evil regime finally falls will the full truth pour out — in quality and quantity that will shock humanity. None of it worked. The regime’s answer has always been bullets, gallows, and more terror. Now, less than 24 hours before Trump’s deadline, I write this with a heavy heart from inside Iran: Whatever happens next — if there is still an Iran left to save and this regime is gone — the Iranian people will be happy with the result. No matter the cost. Because the cost of the regime remaining is higher, and for many of us, death itself is preferable to another day under this nightmare.
