Today we celebrate 101 years of Tiferes B’nai Israel here in Warrington, the oldest synagogue in Bucks County. As we honor America’s 250th anniversary, TBI’s century+ of faith, community and inclusion continues to inspire us all.

This series, PA250, will help to educate people about some lesser-known places here in Bucks County, and will celebrate the amazing history of our home.

In the lead up to our country’s 250th birthday on July 4, 2026, I will be posting 12 videos highlighting historical sites and people from our district.

The fifth video highlights the Ivyland Country Store – a staple of the community where kids spent their allowance, where neighbors caught up on local news, and where newcomers got their first real feel for what Ivyland is all about.

Gerald Shur’s vision changed American justice forever. He built the federal Witness Protection Program, safeguarded countless lives and resided right here in Warminster.

I’m grateful to have hosted my first College Fair at William Tennent High School! Families got answers on admissions, financial aid, loans, ROTC and more. I look forward to making this an annual event to help students succeed.

The second one, about the William Tennent House, can be seen below. Rev. William Tennent’s Log College helped spark a movement for education and liberty right here in Warminster. His story remains a vital part of our national heritage.

Our office hosted a job and resource fair at Archbishop Wood High School alongside staffers from unemployment, CareerLink, and over thirty employers. Thank you to everyone that attended — both potential employees and potential employers and to Archbishop Wood for hosting us.

Last week, the House took a step towards ensuring that our firefighters and community are finally protected from unnecessary PFAS chemicals by unanimously passing my bill, HB1261, that would ban the use of PFAS in firefighting foam and award grants to fire companies

The people in my community know the dangers of PFAS chemicals all too well. For too long, firefighters in Warminster, Horsham, Abington, Warrington, & other communities in Bucks and Montgomery counties — among other communities across the Commonwealth —have been affected by them.
