Why risk selling drugs when you can steal Medicaid or Medicare money with minimal consequences? That’s exactly what the Left is allowing transnational criminals and fraudsters to do. President Trump is cracking down and we’re exposing the failures in blue states.

The cost in money lost to fraud by the federal government comes out to as much as $3000 per American tax filer. That's $3k of a hardworking Americans' earnings that is stolen by criminals. Democrats continue to turn a blind eye to this.

The federal government has made nearly $3 TRILLION in improper payments since 2003.  Enough is ENOUGH. Yesterday I voted for @RepPatFallon’s legislation supporting eligibility verification BEFORE taxpayer dollars go out the door.

Since 2003, the federal government has lost $2.8 trillion to improper payments. I introduced H. Res. 1335 to reaffirm that we will protect hardworking Americans’ tax dollars with real verification and stronger oversight. We will hold the fraudsters accountable.

177 Democrats just voted against a resolution condemning fraudsters across the nation who steal your tax dollars, and urging that Federal program eligibility should be verified before payment. This is the modern Democrat Party. Pro-fraud. Pro-crime. Pro-waste. Anti-American.

Tim Walz and Keith Ellison need to be held responsible for the rampant fraud they allowed to happen. @GOPoversight will continue to fight for the American taxpayer.

4/ We also passed H. Res. 1335 by @RepPatFallon. The resolution affirms the House’s commitment to preventing fraud and improper payments across the federal government and supports verifying eligibility before taxpayer dollars are distributed.

Today, I spoke on the House floor in support of @RepPatFallon’s sponsored Anti-Fraud Resolution condemning actors seeking to defraud the United States government. Opposition to this bill is denying the existence of waste, fraud, and abuse. This resolution is pretty simple. It condemns fraudsters and recognizes that government-wide fraud and improper payment prevention reforms are necessary to improve the fiscal health of the United States. From LA to Minneapolis, from sea to shining sea, taxpayers are being forced to fund fraudsters in and out of our government. It is stealing from every American who works hard and pays taxes. Equally important, we need to stop these criminals that scam the American taxpayer.

Blue state fraud equates to stealing from the American taxpayer. Minnesota officials like Tim Walz and Keith Ellison are not above the law. @GOPoversight will hold these folks accountable.

Proud that the House passed my bipartisan resolution this morning condemning bad actors who want to defraud the federal government. Fraudsters have stolen $2.3 trillion from taxpayers in the past two decades. We must hold these folks accountable.

Justice has been served and Austin Metcalf's killer has been rightfully sentenced to 35 years. The killer took the life of an innocent 17 year old. It is beyond sick and depraved that anyone is actually defending this murderer. Austin Metcalf's parents will never get to see their son graduate or get married. His brother, Hunter will have to live the rest of his life without his twin. Their family is permanently scarred because of one split-second act of evil. Rest in peace, Austin Metcalf.
