Yesterday several nurses from my district joined us for the Wisconsin Nurses Association Legislative Day. We appreciate everything they do for our community!

We met with the representative from the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association who was in town for the annual legislative day.

Yesterday, I was honored to be named "Legislator of the Year" by @WiscBuilders.

Last week, I was honored to receive the "Working for Wisconsin" Award from Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce.

Today, the Assembly unanimously passed legislation continuing the Merit Scholarship program. Established in 2015, the program has benefitted nearly three hundred freshmen with more than $1.5 million in scholarships.

Today, my staff had the opportunity to meet with students from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse to discuss public health funding.

Yesterday, I was honored to receive the @LeagueWIMunis Municipal Champion Award.

On June 14, 1885, Bernard Cigrand, then a grade school teacher, held the first formal observance of Flag Day. That event was held at Stony Hill School in Waubeka, a community located here in the 60th Assembly District. Happy Flag Day.
