We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Herb Trawick, a true visionary in our industry.
From getting his start in A&R to managing artists like Brian McKnight, Herb always had a pulse on where the music business was headed.
Herb became widely known in the pro audio community as the co-creator and co-host of Pensado’s Place with legendary mix engineer Dave Pensado. At a time when there were few podcasts dedicated to recording and engineering, Herb and Dave helped create the blueprint and influenced listeners everywhere.
In addition to Pensado's Place, Herb pursued other projects, founding Kalimba Entertainment, producing a Broadway show, and serving on the boards of The Blackbird Academy, Abbey Road Institute, and many other organizations.
Thank you for everything, Herb. Your legacy will continue to inspire us all.
