Proud to have had a father who was my best friend, my mentor, my teacher. I am still trying every day to become a little more like him.

There are days, some more than others, when I remember my North Star. Everyone seeks one, not bound by religion but a guide to being human, to grace, to the Almighty. For 25 years, mine was Sant Baba Baljinder Singh Ji. His passing left silence, and a final lesson in detachment.

Just as the Buddha taught that wisdom is proven through right action, not mere knowing, today knowledge alone is not enough. Knowledge is everywhere, but relationships, attitude, and mindful application is what creates real impact. Understanding has value only when it is lived.

Certainly Business and life too teaches you quite quickly that “You become what you think. You rise to what you believe. Keep a small circle, but make it unbreakable; all relationships are built on trust, truth and time. The rest is noise.” It’s important to shut out the noise.

And every now and then, you meet a mind so sharp, so visionary, that it leaves a permanent mark. My one-on-one with Hon. Shri @PiyushGoyal India’s Minister for Commerce & Industry, during his UK visit was exactly that.

We all need to be aware. Some people turn desperation into a weapon and dress lies as helplessness. They know exactly how to twist guilt and fear to get what they want. God sees it all. Let this be a reminder: not every cry for help is honest; some are carefully crafted traps. Even the most intelligent fall to this.

I just saw a quote that sums up what it means to grow and mature, both in life and in business; Some times you have to admit you were/are wrong but sometimes you just have to take a stance on principles. #takingastance

As a leader the one thing more important than being liked or respected as a person, is to be liked & respected for the choices one makes. As CEO one has to constantly make choices, choices that shape the life’s of those we lead, often difficult choices. #doingwhatisright

Two things in life you need to avoid. 1. Caring what they think. 2. Thinking that they care. Don’t waste your time. It’s your life, live it on your terms. You’re not here to explain yourself. Respect everyone but that doesn’t mean you have to seeks others approval.

Sometimes in life you just have to sit back & let things just happen as they do. Everything happens for a reason.

3 things my late Father taught me ; 1. Money has no value in front of People, Relationships & Trust 2. Get emotional about People & Relationships. Never about a business or money. 3. Never walk away from people & relationships. But Never stay for business, work or money.
