Yes, @NickJFuentes, many times there are circumstances where a blended family is a blessing. But I wasn’t speaking theoretically, I was talking about the Wilsons. Rachel Wilson is not a widow. She slept around and saddled Andrew with her boyfriends’ kids. I wouldn’t bring any of this up if Rachel and Andrew didn’t lecture the world on “family values.” What a complete joke. Secondly, the video is out there of my discussion of the death of one of Rachel’s children. The father (Brian Jennings, not Andrew) filed a temporary protective order because he feared Rachel’s neglectful parenting. Being that the child died in a car, driven by a minor, the father apparently was right. These are the facts.

It's easy to say adoption is virtuous, and i dont think the argument is adoption is cucked, that is just a larp. However, It is up for question whether raising adopted kids is as black and white as it is being painted. If adopting an innocent child and raising your own was interchangeable there wouldn't be much to criticize, but it isn't. Being raised by parents who aren't yours is not insignificant and breeds poor outcomes which should be equally discouraged as having reckless relationships which breed negative outcomes. The idea that adopted fathers replace a biological father is obviously not the case and something trads dont engage with. Is it preferable to the foster system? sure, but we should not paint adoption as some clean slate with no consequences. The other side of this is what RFH points out with the Wilson's in general. This very liberal charity that Nick gives the Wilson's on the reality of unfortunate circumstances is exactly what they hold over others and look to undermine.
