FULL TIME | Matson 1st XV 26–27 Devonport Services 🏉 A tough one at Redwell Road today. The boys put in a massive performance & went in ahead at half-time after some outstanding rugby. Devonport edged it in the second half, but great effort from Matson throughout 🖤🤍

Yesterday the 1st XV travelled to Marlborough RFC. A tough afternoon as we fell to a 36–12 defeat on the road. Plenty of effort and commitment on show, but not the result we were after. We regroup, learn, and go again next week.

Matson travelled to face Exmouth RFC, with a last-minute switch to Ivybridge RFC due to an unplayable pitch at Exmouth. A tough first half, but a much improved second-half performance. 🎉 Debuts for Harry O’Sullivan (19) and Josh James (18) — both played really well👏🏼
