LACO busted an illegal foreigner who employed 6 other illegal foreigners who bake cookies for South Africans. The foreigners a paid R16 per day for an 8 hour shift, the Bangladeshi foreigner cancelled the day shift to night shift only, in an attempt to run away from being raided in Eastwood KZN.

The Economic Freedom Fighters is pushing for unemployed professionals to be exempt from paying registration fees to bodies like South African Council of Educators (SACE), Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and Legal Practice Council (LPC). The party says the current system makes it harder for young people to find jobs.

Young Professionals, Teachers, Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Accountants etc. have to pay membership fees to professional bodies like SACE, HPCSA, LPC, ECSA and SAICA, even when they are UNEMPLOYED. The EFF is demanding parliamentary intervention to STOP this unjust practice!
