You’re right! It didn’t have to happen. There are cameras everywhere, a license plate that has registration to it. With some investigative work, the officer could have went to the friend’s home and arrested her. No one would have been shot. It wouldn’t Did she know her friend was stealing???

What about ACCOUNTABILITY for the police officer harming an innocent child? Companies build product losses into their budgets. They know and expect to lose a certain amount of money due to theft. Usually people steal for survival. I don’t condone theft, but I also don’t think death is the answer.

Her friend was driving the car. The baby wasn’t committing a crime, neither was the mother…but you still don’t feel bad for them….let the punishment fit the crime. I support capital punishment. Petty theft which isn’t even worth a police report isn’t worth a life lost. Trigger happy, bullies don’t deserve a gun. The officer wasn’t going to lose any money for pampers missing. Walmart wasn’t going to go out of business for pampers. But that child unnecessarily lost his life because of a careless, trigger happy, scared pu**y of an officer.
