@JenSiebelNewsom Lol. You can't even define what boys and girls and women are, let alone how a journalist should act.

My family and I watched the 60 Minutes interview with Donald Trump and Norah O’Donnell last night, and we were shocked. Seeing a president speak to a woman journalist with that level of contempt — and a clear allergy to facts — is disturbing, though at this point not unexpected given his pattern of behavior. But that is the problem. Because when that level of disrespect from the highest office in the country repeats itself, it starts to trickle down into our culture and define what power looks like, shaping how boys and plenty of men see women and girls and what they come to accept as normal behavior.

Today’s raids by state and federal law enforcement happened because our state agencies caught irregular behavior and reported it. That’s how the system is supposed to work, and our agencies will keep at it as long as there are fraudsters around to put behind bars.

If you commit fraud in Minnesota you’re going to get caught — and that’s exactly what we saw today. We catch criminals when state and federal agencies share information. Joint investigations work, and securing justice depends on it.

Iran’s shadow banking system serves as a critical financial lifeline for its armed forces, enabling activities that disrupt global trade and fuel violence across the Middle East. Illicit funds funneled through this network support the regime’s ongoing terrorist operations, posing a direct threat to U.S. personnel, regional allies, and the global economy. Financial institutions are on notice: Any institution that facilitates or engages with these networks is at risk of severe consequences.
Treasury Department@USTreasury

Today, as part of Economic Fury, Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control designated 35 entities and individuals that oversee Iran’s shadow banking architecture and facilitate the movement of the equivalent of tens of billions of dollars. These networks allow Iran’s armed forces—including the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps—to access the international financial system to receive payment for illicit oil sales, purchase sensitive components for missiles and other weapons systems, and transfer money to Iran’s terrorist proxies.

Mr. Prime Minister, Why is an ex-IRGC commander with the blood of thousands of Iranians on his hands being welcomed in Canada? Is this your answer to Iranian-Canadians months of rally calling for help against the terrorist regime? Canada criminal code lists the IRGC as a terrorist group. Why allow its mafia-like commanders onto our soil while they’re at war with our ally, the US? This is unacceptable. Revoke all regime-linked visas and deny entry now. #IslamicTerroristRegimeMustBeEliminated #FreeIran

Government sources tell Iran International that Mehdi Taj — a former IRGC intelligence commander now heading Iran’s football federation — has been issued a Temporary Resident Permit (TRP) to enter Canada despite being otherwise inadmissible. Taj is expected to attend the FIFA Congress in Vancouver ahead of the 2026 World Cup. @NegarMojtahedi reports.

I promise you, Ro Khanna, my daughter was scared when she was forced to take her last breath. I was not there to hold her as she slipped away. For years, Americans were told about “robust vetting” and “screening.” My family learned the cost of those false assurances when an illegal immigrant, driving intoxicated and in this country unlawfully, killed my daughter under the very policies you champion and still defend. Oh, and he got a release date — because of course he did. Katie got the grave. Katie’s family got a life sentence of grief while he got another chance. Your one-sided hyperbolic rhetoric would fit right in with J.B. Pritzker, his allies and the Illinois media that protects him. How far we have fallen when men like you are treated as moral leaders while families like mine are left with graves, not justice. Bang-up job sir!

🚨 Former Columbia Professor Says “Armed Resistance” Must Be Understood “Holistically” at People’s Forum Event At tonight’s People’s Forum event on Palestine and Columbia University, former Columbia professor A. Kayum Ahmed defended “armed resistance” by expanding the definition of violence itself. Ahmed argued that people have too “narrow” a view of violence, then described rent, health insurance, and capitalism as forms of “systemic violence.” He then framed armed resistance as something that should be understood “holistically,” alongside diplomacy, BDS, and the South African model.

@wesbury Social Security has absolutely been mismanaged. It's ironic, given the government regulations that are imposed on companies that manage retirement funds.

Chris, I have seen you brag on X about being a graduated meteorologist…you are not an economist. This is such a shallow take on this issue, I don’t even know where to begin. I am an economist. We, boomers, did pay in. But the government spent it already, mostly on stuff that young people all vote for because they are mostly Socialists now.
Chris Martz@ChrisMartzWX

𝐌𝐄: “Social Security is a state-run Ponzi scheme. The returns to old investors are paid for by the contributions of newer investors.” 𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐑: “But I paid into it for 40 some odd years!” 𝐌𝐄: “I get that, but I should not bankroll your retirement. Retirement should be self-funded. In the 1950s, there were 16 workers per retiree. Now the ratio is 2:1. The pool of money available to pay retirees is increasingly smaller because each generation is having fewer kids. So, the government has to print money to pay retirees because there are not enough workers. This causes inflation, which burdens young people the most.” 𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐑: “But I paid for my parents’ retirement. So, you should pay mine. I want my money back!! I am entitled to it! You are being unfair to grandma!” 𝐌𝐄: “Two wrongs don’t make a right. And, this system is increasingly unfair to the youth. Your kids and grandkids are the future of this country. You are not. We should be making the American Dream more achievable for them. Every GOOD parent wants his or her kids to be better off than he or she was. We need to find a way out of Social Security. It is an immoral, economically unsustainable system.” 𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐑: “I want my money back.” And, this right here is why nothing ever changes for the better. My biggest gripe with old people, both of my grandmothers included (and I have said it to their faces), is that they are stubborn and seldom open to new ideas. And given Congress is a retirement home, this explains a lot about the poor state of affairs in this country.
