I just gave welcome remarks to the newly formed California Commission on the State of Hate. The Commission was formed after @GavinNewsom signed my bill, AB 1126 in 2021. He included funding for the Commission in this year’s budget, enabling today’s inaugural meeting.

Today is my last day as a member of the legislature. It has been the privilege of a lifetime serving the people of CA as an Assemblymember representing #AD20. I have had many jobs over the years. This is the one I have enjoyed the most. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you.
