Game day nutrition isn’t random it’s planned.
Pearson has his first district baseball game tonight vs McKinney Boyd, and if something works, we don’t change it. So today he ordered his classic filet mignon sandwich, the same meal he used during last season when he played well.
The goal isn’t just to eat it’s to fuel the entire day correctly.
About 6 hours before the game, he’ll eat the steak sandwich with toasted bread and provolone along with his CorVive Hydrate.
Later in the afternoon after hitting, he’ll have a turkey sandwich with mustard, lettuce, tomato, and pretzels for more carbs and lean protein.
Then about 30–45 minutes before the game, he’ll have a quick carb source with a tortilla, honey, and banana, along with CorVive Energy for focus and performance.
